If one Microsoft Office Outlook with Exchange uses, can his contacts with his Windows Mobile 7 synchronize. To learn how to do this accomplished, see the Microsoft Support: Set up an e-mail account.
If, however Microsoft Office Outlook without Exchange uses, this is a bit more difficult with his contacts on the Windows Phone 7 to sync, because these are most likely stored on the PC in a PST file.
But with the free Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector You can import his Outlook contacts into the Windows Live account and then use the Windows Phone 7 synchronize.
Condition: There must be a Windows Live ID in the Windows Phone 7 be registered. For more information about Windows Live ID and other services, for which you have access to Windows Mobile 7 can make, see the Microsoft Support: New possibilities for the phone powered by Windows Live.
1. Once the Outlook Connector has been installed Hotmail, öffne Microsoft Office Outlook 2010.
2. Click on File, and then click Hinzufgen Account.
3. It must "Configure server settings or additional server types" be selected. Confirm with Next.
4. Choose “Andere” from. Then the entry must “Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector” be marked. Confirm again with the Next button.
5. Now give the user information for the Windows Live account and confirm by clicking OK. Depending on your internet connection and already existing data, it will take a few minutes, were synchronized to all information.
6. Now click on Outlook Contact. In the left pane under "My Contacts", a new contacts folder for the Windows Live account appear.
7. Now click in the left pane, click your "main contacts folder", select all contacts with the key combination CTRL A from, or only the, you want to put on your phone. Then right-click >Move >Contacts folder of Windows Live Account.
8. When the Outlook contacts into the Windows Live account were imported, you can synchronize, by the Windows Live account on your Windows Phone 7 set up. To learn how, Web at Set up an e-mail account the appropriate instructions.

Yeah right, it will all automatically synchronized, It will not be synchronized manually. The contacts are accessible from your Windows Phone with your Windows Live account connected and therefore the set up Windows Live (Hotmail) E-mail account in Office Outlook.
As soon as a change in Outlook, or in the browser in the Windows Live account or directly carried out on Windows Mobile is (amended as telephone number, new contact, Contacts deleted, Contact Photo changed, etc.) these are automatically synchronized.

For me always was the reason for the connection to Outlook, a Windows Phone Saves. I have an HTC 7 Mozart concerned, this goes back now.
I was wrongly advised, the mobile phone salesman has just argued with the Outlook integration, “this is the first really good saves Phone by MS, in contrast to iphone4 No additional software for the Outlook Sync recorded…”.
Well for me is the MP7 a consumer phone, not a lawyer, no doctor or no entrepreneur “without Exchange” is its data voluntarily to the danger “Cloud” expose, I do not!

Thank you for your comment the first time here on our blog. I have now for about a week my HTC Trophy and have linked my Outlook Connector with Windows Live Hotmail without problems. Of course, this possibility is unacceptable for companies. However, one can with a Microsoft Windows Mobile every link Exchange e-mail account with no problems. If you have problems with it, contact your IT administrator. Once that has happened, , e-mail messages, Calendar and Contacts (also gets the images from each contact) synchronized with the WP7.
Which e-mail accounts, you wanted to set up now? On a Windows Phone, you can create multiple accounts simultaneously and use(Exchange, Windows Live, Google, Vodafone E-Mail, POP, IMAP).
The mobile phone seller, you had to express it casually, ill-advised, because that is precisely the philosophy of Microsoft, that a Windows Mobile not just locally synchronized with PC or MAC to, but LIVE. Everything else in my opinion makes little sense today to be up to date.

Hi Olaf, thank you for the first time for your comment. Do you have your Windows Live account set up correctly? Check it below Settings > E-mail Accounts & Other their Windows Live account.
Is there point in Windows LiveE-Mail, Contact, Calendar, Photos, Feeds“? Are your current contacts "Windows Live" or out. stored?
If not, you should press the Windows Live Account sync again with long after. Please give me some feedback, if it worked.

Outlook Synchronization, only through Windows Live, creating an account and ready. Easy and simple, but with a very important problem. I can abgewinnen Phone7/Exchange/LiveMail this philosophy also absolutely nothing. None of the smaller business customers and wants an Exchange Server. Likewise, no one wants to see billowing around his business contacts in any cloud. The tests are run for my clients impractical. Data from the CRM Outlook, then maybe end up at the push into the cloud and then to Mobile. The user sits next to his PC and has the cell phone in hand. In the case of the notebook has the connection to the company. Conclusion: Impractical. Little problem at the edge (perhaps someone has a solution). An Outlook account is full of dates and addresses. Only the dates are synchronized. Wsa makes the wrong user?

But the data were very well synchronized with the Phone. The day after the data were also accessible online. I have an Omnia 7 and actually had everything set up. Synchronization of contacts, Calendar …everything worked.
Then I had to unfortunately Windows 7 and now if I reinstall Outlook 2010 my Kontto (POP 3) an Outlook Connector Hotmail account to add, then sync the contacts and not sending mail I get error reports, unfortunately, incredibly long. “Synchronisierungsfehler”, “the network connection is unavailable or interrupted” still occur. The e-mails are retrieved but.
The contacts and calendar sync is not! What am I doing wrong?

The Windows Live account may not be included as a POP3, because it is a MAPI account.
Do you have "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" under a “Other” Account and then the “Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector” selected?

For me to sync the contacts are not simply.
I have via Outlook 2010 45 Contacts to my Live account via a live connector can add, but now wants nothing more here. Outlook contacts not synchronizing.
Phone and Live are always beautiful in sync, that already, but not my PC.
And the worst of the matter is yes, that there is nowhere log files or error messages, that even the hint of a reference type in what direction I must look further. It is easy for milking mice. If this keeps up I junk my old Windows Mobile 6.5 Device from here before I totally freak…

Hallowell Popular, Thank you for your comment. I guess you do not have the latest Microsoft Office Outlook Connector installed Hotmail. In the Control Panel “Uninstalling Programs” is the version number of your connectors. The current Microsoft Office Outlook Connector since Hotmail 06. August 2011 in version 14.0.6106.5001 available and fixes the problems in “Sending and Receiving”!
Reference: This latest update (14.0.6106.5001) contains several fixes for stability and reliability and supports the HTTPS protocol for all communication between Microsoft Outlook and Windows Live Hotmail, Calendar and contacts.

for me has worked out quite well as far as the synchronization. Are only on my Omnia 7 not received all the data. It shows my phone to one phone number per contact. A second, that exists in Outlook, I think not on the phone. Is this a matter of adjustment in the Windows Live options?

Hello, I also find it strange, that a proven windows-phone is so complicated in the synchronization and, that for each data type (music, e-mail, Excel files) additional procedures are different programs with ever-new.
But what I almost despair of the contacts management. after they have succeeded with the connector to move a large part of the contacts in the Windows Live account and to synchronize with the windows-phone all seemed well. Now I've made another contact folder other contacts in the folder windows-live-shifted, want but not go away from there on to the windows phone. each newly created contact but hastily moves between phone and pc, just as it should. which can migrate to the non-ending-be wrong-contacts?

Hello,
you can put in the settings for synchronization to your Hotmailkonto “manually” provide. Thus your account (and contacts) not automatically synchronized.
Then you need to synchronize in your Hotmailkonto and down right trigger synchronization.
It is not enough if you go only to contacts.

Those were some really unpleasant days now I have experienced since the mango after update, because after the update has my Outlook 2010 simply strike and I could no longer work with it. The Active- and also the Archive PST were both closed with errors and Outlook could not start going. Multiple ScanPST have brought nothing, and finally I figured I Connector software and then uninstall Outlook also. Then Outlook installed and I was able to send and receive emails and. The sudden end came with the new installation of Outlook Connect … same game “frozen Startup-Screen”. It was therefore not the PST but the connector, I'll install the no longer. And right now is just really hit me what a nonsense the matter with the connector via live.com actually. Because even though I actually really appreciate my HTC7 – Sync via the live.com is just scrap! Because I have no other option in my Outlook have always 2 parallel work calendars – from the live.com and even the local calendar. that's not really pleasant. why? because time-only invitations go into production calendar and not in the from live.com! I would be interested to know who Microsoft is working with so! But there are probably all in the background exchange. maybe I should stand up to me one exchange-server at home? Conclusion: but then the next cell phone is a iphone – Despite my apple-phobia!

Hi Stephan Waltl, because you have the latest Outlook Connector downloaded and brought up to date? Service Pack 1? The point is that with Windows Live, To use just any local PST files. You can create multiple calendars in your Windows Live account and manage Windows Phone and Outlook!
For example, I use a calendar for appointments, one for birthdays and holidays for. These I can in Outlook 2010 View can even stock, so I always see everything at a glance.

hattte mein trophy7 mit exchange gesynct. Now in the new company is no longer the. now I just wanted to sync my calendar and my home contacted the outlook. htc sync for android, live mail nur zum SYNCEN, settings for google calendar and contacts ok, no sync. hotmail connector dito. Now I have all my contacts and appointments on the mobile, which I must return,.. and get the data of all my customers etc,.. not down!!!???? can not be yes or? before you have your phone plugged in and the contacts, calendars were synchronized!! now? cloud?? what's the??? first and foremost a phone- Please only the bells and whistles! how do I get my data?

I try desperately field “Position” (JobTitle) to carry over from Outlook windows live on the Phone, but without success. In Outlook, the entry is vorhaden, online at windows live but remains empty. I wear then the online manually after, is the transferred to the Phone (also return). Bug beim Import/Export aus Outlook heraus? Who knows what to?

Turning now to the process of elimination, only the Outlook Hotmail Connector in the current version 14.0.6106.5001 be responsible. To remedy this we can only hope, then, unfortunately, to a newer version of the connector, fixes this bug.
Note: The new version of Office 15, which is still in beta status is, Hotmail is rumored to support Windows natively. A public beta is expected in late February.

there is somewhere a list of fields, Outlook synchronizes. The method “Trial and error” is quite time consuming and frustrating moment, since except for the address and phone / mail data is transmitted probably nothing.

Hello, I have an Omnia 7 and want to sync the contacts with Outlook2007 on WinXP SP3. So far has not worked out so right. Is there a way, die Synchronisation Outlook – Live-Account manuell anzustoßen? Or. which rules (scheduled, Double-clicking on buttons ?) is synchronized where I can adjust as?
It takes forever, up in the status bar in Outlook, the server status in “connected” changes.
Where is the error ? I have installed the latest Connector (14.0.6106.5001)

Phone7 really exhausted at the nerve. Now we have 2 Phones in use. In an old dates remain, the other deletes appointments older self-employed 2 Weeks. Does anyone have any idea why this is so? A setting “Auto Delete” I have never found.

@ FrankJ28: In my experience,, there is no adjustment, Dates to automatically delete. What kind of account you connect your phone? Microsoft Exchange, Windows Hotmail oder Google Mail? Were the two phones with one or more Windows (Live) IDs logged? Was released one or more calendar?

You can see all information about a contact within the contacts-hubs. There are on the profile page, all information. However, in my experience, no detailed information using the Outlook Connector to transfer Hotmail. How to Comment No.. 34 described, transfer is also the position field and not with the member photo. To remedy lies only to a newer version of the Connector and Windows 8 hope.
I recommend the additional information, In the Notes field to enter.

both are HotMail accounts with their own course ID. Under HotMail all data available, on the (a) Phone disappear after sync always older than all appointments 14 Tage. Both Phone 7.5. You see me at a loss, I find no such setting, neither in the Phone, HotMail still under.

There's ne way the Windows7 Contacte by the exchange server are synchronized, to secure any.
Case Study: Employee leaves the company, has no more access to the Exchange server, will aber seine Outlook Contacts (vom Exhange server) and take further secure.
Sure at first they are on the phone, but just not on the cloud as e.g.. Contact the Department!
